In the interim, we have provided insights below into the sectors in which we have project experience:

Banking and Fund Management

We have worked with a range of institutions across the banking and investment sector on information governance, records retention policies, file plan design and electronic document management strategy projects.

We have helped a number of customers relocate their offices.

Fire and Rescue

Fire authorities rely on the collection and utilisation of a large amount of information to inform their strategies and plans to provide community and regulatory services, as well as manage internal operations. We have worked with a Fire and Rescue Authority to conduct a strategic Information Management Review, creating an action plan to cover information governance and data management.

Insurance Companies

We have worked with both Insurance and Reinsurance companies to create Records Management policies and procedures, including the delivery of training to staff. We have also worked in designing the information architecture for the deployment of solutions for Electronic Document Management across underwriting, claims, actuarial and corporate services.

We have also helped a large insurance company inventory and reconfigure their inhouse archive storage warehouse.

Law Firms

We have worked with law firms of varying sizes on a range of information governance projects covering the handling of both paper and electronic records. Work has included Records Management policies, records retention schedules, physical archiving processes and archive holding audit / reconciliation strategies.

Higher Education

We have worked with a number of higher education institutions on information governance projects. This includes the development of an Enterprise Content Management strategy, covering document management, workflow and web content. Also the design of an information audit template and accompanying audit process.

Local Government

We have worked with a range of county, unitary, metropolitan, district, borough and city councils in England, Scotland and Wales on a variety of projects that have included: Records Management policies and procedures, including retention schedules, EDRM strategies, business case and specification for CRM systems, workflow strategy.

We have undertaken information audits and deployed information asset register solutions.

Manufacturing, Engineering and Utilities

Our MD's first job in document management was with Trimco, who produced a technical and engineering document management system. More recently we have worked with a number of customers on both information governance, enterprise content management, information audit and IAR / ROPA projects. These companies have been in areas such as:

Mortgage Lending

We have worked with a number of mortgage lenders, from the perspective of both their origination and servicing processes, on matters relating to information governance and electronic document management. This work has included records Management policies and procedures, including retention schedules; document management and workflow strategies, specification and procurement; and the design of digital mail room processes.

NHS

We have worked with a number of Trusts on information governance projects. This work has included: Records Management policy and procedures for Corporate Records; information audits and Information Asset Register solutions; the deployment of Electronic Document Management systems; procedures for managing physical records; and document scanning processes, including legal admissibility requirements.

Media

We have helped a number of media companies with relocation, as well as storage of records, tapes, artefacts and furniture.

Property Development

We have supported large national property development and management companies with a range of services and solutions, including Records Management policy and procedures, record and furniture storage, document scanning, refurbishment projects and electronic document management system specification.

We have also provided our CCTV asset register system.

Social Housing

We have worked with social housing organisations on projects for information governance and electronic document management. Work has included: Records Management policies and procedures, including retention schedules; file plan design for an electronic document management solution, including metadata, security and retention considerations; and strategy for offsite archiving.

Third Sector

In addition to being co-author of the Information and Records Management Society's "Third Sector Toolkit", we have worked with a number of charities on information governance projects, including the development of records management policies / procedures and records retention schedules.
